Should I Try Bleach?

I came home for lunch today, and it was really warm out and all the snow was melting. And I sat down on my couch and noticed that there were brown streaks of liquid running down my living room wall. So I phoned my landlord, and he came and shoveled off the roof, but now not only does my living room look like a scene from 'The Shining', but it smells like the basement of the old house I spent my early childhood in. The one where we used to regularly encounter mice, snakes, bats and carrion beetles.

This, coupled with the fact that about a month ago I discovered the lovely 'gift' of a desiccated mouse corpse that one of my cats had left for me IN MY BED, has led me to think that...

It may be time to move.

I did not know we had carrion beetles. Are you sure? That is disgusting. Did you try to feed me to them? I bet you thought about it!

I distinctly remember seeing a very large orange and black beetle crawling across the basement floor. I didn't know what it was at the time, but in retrospect, I'm pretty sure it was a carrion beetle. And we for sure have them. I have seen them crawling on dead animals before.

Mmmmm. Dead animals. Carrion beetles. Don't you love nature?

Try vinegar instead of bleach, it can work better I've heard. Let me know if it works please.

Well, I tried washing the walls, and unfortunately, most of the water seeped in from inside the wall, so the stains are just not coming out. Have to paint over it I'm thinking. And now my place smells again. >:(
